Data Processing Agreement

The processor terms that apply when we handle your visitors' data.

This is a template, not legal advice. It describes how the software actually behaves, which is the part we can state accurately. Before relying on it commercially, have a lawyer review it against your jurisdiction, your sub-processors and your real retention practice.

This DPA forms part of the Terms of Service where Onzira Labs Private Limited processes personal data on your behalf. A countersigned copy is available on request for Business and Enterprise plans.

Subject matter and duration

We process personal data only to provide the service, for as long as your workspace exists, plus the deletion grace period described in the Privacy Policy.

Nature and purpose

Extracting, chunking, embedding, storing and retrieving the content you supply; generating chatbot replies from it; storing conversation transcripts and captured leads; and producing analytics for you.

Categories of data and data subjects

Data subjects are the visitors to websites where you publish a chatbot, and your own team members. Categories include:

  • Contact details a visitor chooses to submit through a lead form.
  • The content of messages a visitor sends.
  • Technical data: IP address, approximate country, browser user agent, referring page.
  • Any personal data contained in the documents you upload — which is under your control, not ours.

Our obligations

  • Process personal data only on your documented instructions.
  • Ensure people authorised to process it are bound by confidentiality.
  • Implement the technical and organisational measures described on our Security page.
  • Engage sub-processors only under equivalent terms, and tell you before adding a new one.
  • Assist you with data subject requests, impact assessments and breach notification.
  • Delete or return personal data at the end of the service, subject to legal retention requirements.
  • Make available the information needed to demonstrate compliance, and allow audits on reasonable notice.

Sub-processors

We use sub-processors for hosting, object storage, email delivery, payment processing and AI inference. The current list, with locations and purposes, is available on request and is maintained as part of the signed agreement.

Governing law

This document is governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Delhi, India, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer or data-protection rights you hold where you live.
